Amit`s Dilemma-Choosing MBA Specialization (A)
Abstract: This two part case is about a student who is in a dilemma about specialization to choose in his MBA course. While exploring other options, he was also interested to know which specialization in MBA attracted more salary. He started collecting data from his seniors about the salary they were offered during the placements. Part A of the case helps in understanding the inferences about the difference between two population means when the population standard deviation is unknown. Part B of the case helps to understand inferences about the difference between two population means: matched samples. Using this helps the students understand independent sample design and matched sample design. |
